Approximately $n$-order linear differential equations

We prove the generalized Hyers--Ulam stability  of $n$-th order linear differential equation of the form $$y^{(n)}+p_{1}(x)y^{(n-1)}+ cdots+p_{n-1}(x)y^{prime}+p_{n}(x)y=f(x),$$ with condition that there exists a non--zero solution of corresponding homogeneous equation. Our main results extend and improve the corresponding results obtained by many authors.

Typing Linear and Non-Linear Higher- Order Mobile Embedded Resources with Local Names

We provide the first process calculus combining (affine) linear and non-linear higher-order mobile processes, nested locations, and local names. We do so by extending the type and effect system of Homer, a calculus of non-linear Higher-Order Mobile Embedded Resources, with a distinction between affine linear and non-linear locations (akin to reference types) and uses of variables (as in the lin...

First order linear fuzzy dynamic equations on time scales

In this paper, we study the concept of generalized differentiability for fuzzy-valued functions on time scales. Usingthe derivative of the product of two functions, we provide solutions to first order linear fuzzy dynamic equations. Wepresent some examples to illustrate our results.

Boundedness of linear order-homomorphisms in $L$-topological vector spaces

A new definition of boundedness of linear order-homomorphisms (LOH)in $L$-topological vector spaces is proposed. The new definition iscompared with the previous one given by Fang [The continuity offuzzy linear order-homomorphism, J. Fuzzy Math. 5 (4) (1997)829$-$838]. In addition, the relationship between boundedness andcontinuity of LOHs is discussed. Finally, a new uniform boundednessprincipl...

Linear Second-order Uniication ?

We present a new class of second-order uniication problems, which we have called linear. We deal with completely general second-order typed uniication problems, but we restrict the set of uniiers under consideration: they instantiate free variables by linear terms, i.e. terms where any-abstractions bind one and only one occurrence of a bound variable. Linear second-order uniication properly ext...
